On November 11, 2016, Arianna performed for members of The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own” Brass Quintet in the 2016 198th Army Band Solo and Small Ensemble Competition. Today, Arianna was notified that she was selected as the 2016 College Solo Division Winner!

The competition was hosted by the 198th Army Band in Rochester, and College Solo applicants competed by performing three contrasting solos and sightreading three contrasting excerpts of music. Scholarships were awarded to winners in each of the categories (College Solo, High School Solo, College Small Ensemble, and High School Small Ensemble).
